Our Story
Hi! I'm Erin, head honcho over here at LoveLennon Designs! Dogs have always been, and always will be, my greatest love.
In March of 2020, like many of us, my world came to a crashing halt. I had just moved to a new city, when not even a month later the entire world shut down. As I was trying to make new friends and create a new community - suddenly we were all isolated, and as a group fitness instructor - I found myself jobless. I could feel myself sinking into a dark place, so I packed up my bags and headed home to Iowa for what was supposed to be a long weekend. I ended up staying home for five weeks.
I had my dog with me, Lennon, and I had asked my mom, an incredibly talented seamstress and creator, to make Lennon a dog bandana. She instead took the time to re-teach me how to sew, something I hadn't done since I was a kid. I sat across the dining room table from her as she worked from home, and I began making bandanas for Lennon. I was posting her on my Instagram feed modeling her new threads, when people started asking where they can get one, and if I was also making masks (remember those?). And so it began - I was making matching masks and bandanas and scrunchines for my friends, then friends of friends... and suddenly people I had no connection to! It was exhilarating - and exhausting. I made hundreds of creations, working 16+ hours a day, taking daily walks to the post office and the local fabric store for new inspiration. After months of pandemic burn out, and feeling so lost, I finally felt like me again. I was doing something that brought me joy - and joy to so many others during incredibly challenging times.
Fast Forward a couple years, today I am back to teaching my beloved fitness classes - but I'm still finding ways to grow LoveLennon, and to continue to bring joy to pets and pet parents! We've grown from dog bandanas, to bowties, to resin dog tags - and even key chains for the human kind - our custom creations are limitless!

At LoveLennon we take special care of each bandana, bow tie and keychain we make! If they're not perfect, we start over - we only deliver products we'd put on our own dogs!

On each LoveLennon fabric creation you'll find a little red heart, hand stitched onto the left hand side of the accessory. That's us, putting our literal love on our "sleeve". We know there are faster ways to make these bandanas, we've seen them around, but we take the extra time for to put a little extra love into each piece to ensure you that each piece has made by hand with you and your pet in mind.
